Vintage Wayang Golek puppet used in traditional theater performances in Java, Indonesia. This hand carved puppet depicts the character Togug from one of the great ancient Hindu epic tales.  Character name is printed on the rod inside the puppet. The puppet consists of  the  carved, painted head, the wooden, clothed and decorated body with articulating  arms operated by sticks, the rod with name that fits through the body to hold  the head, and a stand.  Assembled puppet height is approximately 25 inches.
