    Description

    Vintage Hand-Carved Indonesian Barok Mask.  This beautiful Wooden Mask may have been a ceremonial tribal mask.  They usually have spiritual meanings, used as protection against evil & treated with respect.  The eyes are slit & nasal passages holed out.  A hook for hanging has been attached to the back.  Face & Ears are colored Yellow.  Lips Red.  Black Hair.  Feathers & Ornamentation in Pink, Black, Green & White.  Gold Flower near Ear Lobes.  Some Paint missing underneath & on top as viewed in photos.  Overall in very good condition.  The 1.085 kg (2.39 lbs.) Mask measures 13 1/2" top of Head to Chin, 17" across & 5" deep.  From my Personal Collection.  REASONABLE OFFERS please.
