Vintage Bed Jacket White Sheer Linen Hand-Embroidery, Ribbon, Valenciennes Lace

A vintage 1930s - 1940s  sheer linen lawn bed jacket trimmed with peach ribbons, hand embroidered flowers and miles and miles of Valenciennes lace.  It looks bright white in my photos, but it actually has a faint blue cast.  Tacked under the arms, tied loosely in the front, it fits more like a cape. Shoulder to hem is about 19". Under arm to under arm across chest is approximately 45", but it is meant to be loose and fluttery.  Although it is designed as a bed jacket, it sure would look cute with a camisole and jeans - or a boho-type gathered shirt.  I hand-washed it and ironed it, and I find no damage, no stains, no fading.  Absolutely adorable.
